A note from Gary:

My big dance show is coming up on October 14. I've been practicing for 2 months with my partner and have my outfit ready to go. My wife says that after the show, the outfit will be preserved as a family heirloom.

I've had fun working on my dance routine, and I think I'm ready. But, I'm also starting to feel the pressure. One of the dancers from last year described it to me as 3 minutes of terror, and I definitely appreciate the feeling.

In case you haven't heard, my dance routine is part cha-cha and part tango, and also includes some lifts, dips and drops.

I understand there were 400-500 people in the audience last year. I have been soliciting friends and family members to come to the show and to vote for me by contributing money, and I hope many of you will consider it as well. A copy of the invitation can be found here.
