Mr. Meyer primarily advises individuals and entities in real estate and business law matters. In certain contexts, he also works with clients on civil litigation matters and other dispute resolution. In all cases, he strives to provide straightforward advice that will help clients reach creative, effective, and efficient solutions based on their legal needs and objectives.
He has experience guiding clients through the process of starting a new company, selling or buying a business, and many of the various issues that arise in between. This includes drafting and negotiating contracts in a variety of contexts, advising clients in regulatory compliance matters, and advising with litigation in situations such as breach of contract, landlord-tenant matters, employment law, and other commercial disputes including construction defects.
For transactions and other representation of clients involving business or real estate deals, Mr. Meyer regularly works with clients on matters including small and medium sized mergers & acquisitions, commercial & residential leasing, trademark & copyright matters for business owners, and representing buyers & sellers throughout the course of transfers and exchanges of real estate of all types.
Mr. Meyer was also first licensed to practice law in Connecticut, where he previously worked in the insurance subrogation industry for nationwide clients that included Fortune 500 Companies, major labor unions, and some of the nation’s largest hospitals. This background gives Mr. Meyer additional experience reviewing insurance agreements and handling high-pressure negotiations.
After deciding to return to his home state of Colorado, Mr. Meyer was hired by Frascona, Joiner, Goodman and Greenstein, P.C. in 2017 as a law clerk and happily stayed on to become an attorney at the firm in 2018. Working as a law clerk first allowed him to develop strong working relationships with a variety of the firm’s senior attorneys and gain valuable experience across a wide range of the firm’s practice areas.
Outside of the office, Mr. Meyer enjoys spending time enjoying Colorado’s wide range of outdoor activities including kayaking, mountain biking, skiing, fly fishing, hiking, and camping. He also enjoys rooting for his favorite sports teams at the collegiate and professional level. Mr. Meyer spent his summers growing up working for whitewater rafting companies, and he has paddled class V rapids on rivers throughout the Western United States and in Chile.
