After Inspection Objection, Buyer Cannot Stick a Fork in the Deal
Imagine a contract with an Inspection Objection Deadline on MEC + 10, an Inspection Termination Deadline of MEC + 13, and an Inspection Resolution Deadline of MEC +13. Once a buyer timely submits an Inspection Objection, can the buyer kill the deal before the passing of the Resolution Deadline by submitting a Notice to Terminate? The new contract purports to answer that question “no.” But what happens when the blanks in the form are filled out inconsistently with the form’s pre-printed language. Shouldn’t the dates in the chart override the pre-printed language?
