JONATHAN H. SARGENT
Jon Sargent is a corporate and business attorney; he is a well trusted outside counselor to a diverse array of clients. Jon counsels clients on general corporate and business matters, real estate matters, mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and other commercial matters. Jon has extensive experience advising clients on a variety of legal matters which include business formation, choice of entity, mergers and acquisitions, real estate purchase and sale and leasing transactions, capital raising, financing and general commercial and contract matters.
Jon joined Frascona, Joiner, Goodman and Greenstein, P.C. as an associate attorney in 2006, he became a shareholder in 2013, and has served as the president of the law firm since 2020. Before practicing law full time, Jon worked as an international mountain and rock climbing guide, guiding clients around the world on various climbing objectives. Jon utilizes his experience learned as a mountain guide to assist his legal clients in navigating their legal issues.
Jon believes that the role of an effective attorney is to educate his clients while finding practical real-world solutions for their legal matters. Jon earned his law degree from the University of Colorado and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Puget Sound. In addition to working with clients, Jon also serves as a supervising attorney for the entrepreneurial law clinic at the University of Colorado School of Law. In his free time, Jon can be found enjoying time outside rock climbing, trail running and mountain biking with his family and dog in the mountains of Colorado and beyond.
